Build-Operate-Transfer is one idea: someone else builds and runs your team, and you keep the right to take it in-house later. The value is not in the option itself. It is in agreeing the price of the option while you still have no dependency on the team.
Build
Role mapping, recruitment and onboarding. Interview-ready candidates for agreed roles within one week, on a service level agreement (SLA), screened against the profile you described. You interview and decide, which matters more here than on any other model: these are the people you might employ directly in two years.
Operate
We run the team day to day, with coaching, follow-up, HR and admin on our side. You keep task and workflow control. The team works in your process, in your tooling, on your priorities, so what transfers later is a working unit rather than a group of strangers.
Transfer
At 12, 18 or 24 months you convert the team into your own captive centre, on terms fixed in the contract from the start. The option applies on all three engagement models, so choosing it does not lock you into a particular way of working first.

An exit negotiated when you already depend on a team is not a negotiation. Agreeing it before the team exists removes the leverage question entirely: you know the number, we know the number, and the decision at month 18 is about your strategy rather than about who blinks.
